I like the quality but it runs very small. Barely fits my 7 yr old daughters head. Most likely will only last her one season, if that. I waited last minute to order and she has a tournament this weekend so sadly we just have to roll with it or else Id return and purchase from somewhere else
Opened the package and this was what the head gear looked like. The tag on the label stated it was “new”, but it looks like it was a dogs chew toy first. No comment on the product itself since we had to send it back.
Royal is not a good description of color. It is blue.
I am quite pleased with this headgear! I bought this for my 5 year old son in his first year of wrestling and it fits him great with room to adjust and grow! In comparison to other brands of headgear that we have seen in tournaments and at my Sons school, I definitely believe we bought one of the best! It is very comfortable for my son, he can hear just fine with it on and, honestly it looks nice! Also, maybe my 2 1/2 year old daughter has a big head but it can be adjusted to fit her as well. This is only his first season but it still looks nice as the season is reaching its end and I have a feeling he will be wearing it until he grows out of it. When his sister starts wrestling, this is what we will be buying for her as well!

At first these were hard to get to fit, but once we got them all fitted and adjusted they are super comfortable and easy to put on.

Perfect. Fits my 12pound dog exactly. Easy to get on/off. It’s now not a struggle to load my dog and go hike.
Seems to run small.
My child is 9y/o and is about 54 lbs, so he is relatively small. This head piece is super small for the kids his size. I would not recommend using it for the YOUTH- it’s more like for the kids with smaller heads and up to 7y/o.Great quality though!! So, we bought an adult one, that can be made smaller by the straps.
There's good reason Cliff Keen's are widely recommended by wrestlers and BJJ. Offers very good ear protection, pads are very comfortable, and velcro straps are easy to adjust. Some have noted the ear cups bend a little (are not hard plastic as other brands) and concerned about ear protection. It would take tremendous focused pressure to even bend so not a realistic concern. Highly recommend.

Bought the other type, but ended up having to purchase this because it’s exactly what the wrestling coaches want on their wrestlers.
I had trouble with my son’s previous head gear always getting knocked out of place during matches. This one stays in place even through tough matches so he’s not distracted by his head gear.

These were tiny, wouldn't fit my 5 year olds head with the back straps at the loosest.
My son doesn't mind wearing this headgear! it's comfortable and you're able to hear clearly when wearing it. It's easy to put on and easy to take off by my 5 yr old.

I like the coverage the ear pieces give and the color is great, however the straps aren't long enough to properly adjust it. The headgear fit my 2 yr old better than my 8 yr old.

Works great even on my little guy! He’s 5 and is in one of the smallest weight classes. It fits great!
