This is roomy, and looks good. I like that it has a few pockets - 3 in the front and one in the back to store shoes. This is good for multiple uses - I think it's best suited for the gym, hiking, or an overnight trip. I've tested its waterproofing lightly (see photos - water beads up, and after wiping it, there's no staining left), though I haven't tested it in a downpour. Durability is hard to predict - so far so good and I've had some heavy things in there, though the material seems just a bit thin (doesn't mean it isn't strong). I do wish the three front pockets had a bit more room in them, but they're fine for storing thin items like a phone, etc. The main compartment is very roomy. The cost seems a bit high for what you get, but I don't know for sure, since I haven't shopped for a duffel bag like this one. The ones I've had before are the more traditional types, not the roll top.

Great duffle bag. It fits a lot for the smaller size it is. It is thick enough that clothing wouldnt be a problem to tote around.

This is a very, very nice all-purpose, military inspired roll-top duffel bag. You've got reinforced zippers, several exterior pockets, top and side handles, an adjustable shoulder strap and even a shoe pocket! Using the roll-top closure is simple; just snap it closed, fold it over, and buckle the straps. I stuffed this bad boy to the gills with presents, activities, and snacks for my child and it took it all like a champ. With this one amazing bag I think I may have just replaced several other old bags, backpacks and duffels. Can't wait to see how it holds up to rain or rugged outdoor adventures.

This is a nice duffle bag. I would consider it to be medium/large. The most interesting feature is the roll top, most bags are zippered. This has positives and negatives. Zippers are convenient. Roll tops are secure and cannot break. So as a result you can stuff a lot of gear into the bag and be able to freely root around to find the gear. My son uses this as his wrestling/jiujitsu/gym bag, and it carries everything, from his shoes (the shoe compartment is nice) to his gi, his weight belts, supplements, etc. You just have to make sure you have a fairly full load in the bag to roll the top down to, or it is too loose and can get “unrolled.” The material is sturdy, I’ve had bags that used an obviously thinner denier nylon that ripped very easily. This seems pretty sturdy. And the waterproof bottom is super nice, if you’re on a boat I could see this being used as a boat bag, able to withstand splashes. There is also a compartment with a water resistant zipper for small items you would want to keep as dry as possible. In all a versatile bag for sports and travel.A good plus here is that it complies with airline carry on luggage limits.

Very roomy. Bigger than i expected.

I ordered this duffle because I've used Cliff Keen products before. I use their wrestling ear protectors.The bag itself seems to be well-made and should last a long while. I needed a new bag because my other BJJ bag had fallen apart after 5 years.I like the color, and the American flag is a nice touch. It is roomy enough for my grappling gear and should wash pretty easily as necessary.I think it's worth a try since the company has a good track record (with me) and because of the overall quality.

This bag is oversize. I was thinking that it was smaller. I like the Army color green and compartments. It doesn't seem to have a strong bottom support but it can hold a great deal of belongings. I intend on using it for the gym or perhaps weekend travel.

Exactly as described, this is a very appealing duffel bag with the added advantage of the owner's being able to alter it size. Especially useful when using as a carry-on! I really like being able to roll down the top. The snaps to close the top feel almost magnetized, and they secure easily.The "hardware" is plastic, but it looks pretty rugged. Zippers move smoothly. And the green color, or as I know and love it, Olive Drab, looks serious! It was a good choice.

This duffel bag is definitely going to give the impression that you are in the army, whether you are or no. The army color green . . . the U.S. flag on the front . . . who knows—carrying the bag alone might you get first boarding rights on a plane next time you fly! But that’s not why I got it. I got it because I liked its looks and I liked its size. It easily has enough room for a weekend getaway, yet I’m sure would still qualify for a carry-on if you’re traveling by plane. It has four small outside pockets, which I find handy for stowing things you might want to access quickly. The duffel bag comes with a strap, so you have the option of hand-carrying it or carrying it from your shoulder. The only reason I rated it a four rather than a five (and I’ve been debating this rating) is because it snaps close rather than zips close. But the snaps are so close together that it may be a moot point.
